Clare hosted the Munster u15 camogie blitz in Wolfe Tones GAA complex in Shannon on Saturday, August 7th. Visiting teams from Kerry, Limerick and Galway, along with our own Clare team, took part. Each team played 3 group games and a final with Galway overcoming Limerick and Clare defeating Kerry in their respective finals. Great credit to all the girls for competing from 11am to 2.30 pm in blustery, wet conditions and also to our two referees, Fergal O Brien and Ciaran Sheehan who kept going for the same length of time with no substitutions. Finally a massive thanks to Wolfe Tones for providing their facilities and refreshments for everyone on the day.
The next big day out for the u15s will be the all Ireland blitz day on September 18th.
