A busy weekend of camogie fixtures threw up a mixed bag of results, with our U16B team agonisingly losing out to Cork in the Munster Final after extra time. It is some small consolation to the side that goalie, Shauna Doyle, was awarded the Player of the Match trophy for her impeccable performance between the posts.
Saturday saw the Minor A team earn a place in the All Ireland semi final with a comprehensive 5-15 to 1-02 win over Wexford. The Dervilla Moloney managed side will take on Dublin next weekend. Time & Venue to be confirmed.
The senior side bowed out of the Littlewoods Div 1 League, losing out to Offaly on a scoreline of 2-12 to 0-11.
The junior team recorded their first win of the Littlewoods Div 3 League in Shannon today with a deserved win over Tyrone. Final score Clare 3-16 Tyrone 4-03
